What is Starlight Haven’s cancellation policy?


Starlight Haven requires payment in full at the time of booking to confirm your reservation.


We offer a 95% refund if your reservation is canceled 21 days before the check-in date.


We offer a credit voucher if your reservation is canceled less than 21 days before the check-in date. A 5% re-booking fee will be charged to your reservation. 


This policy applies to your accommodation and any other add-ons or fees associated with your reservation.


How are security deposits handled?


A $150 security deposit is included for incidentals at the time of booking. At departure, if damages are found in your accommodation, the cost for remediation will be deducted from your security deposit. If repair costs exceed the security deposit amount, you will be billed appropriately.


If no incidentals are discovered or reported, your security deposit will be returned to you in its full amount. Due to credit and debit card processing, it may be 5 – 10 days before the refund is reflected in your account.

What time is check-in and check-out?


Check-in time is 3 PM; Check-out time is 11 AM. It's self check-in with a keypad.


Contact us for early check-in requests; however, early check-ins are not guaranteed.


Late check-outs (until 1 PM) can be accommodated for a $60 fee. Late check-outs can be purchased at the time of booking.


Late check-outs (until 1 PM) requested on the day of departure can be accommodated, based on availability, for a $75 fee.


Is there a minimum stay policy?


There is a 2-day minimum. A 3 or more-day stay will be required during holidays and other events.


Depending on seasonality and availability, a 1-day stay can be accommodated. Contact us for 1-day stay requests.

And every thing else:

There is steep gravel road up to the treehouses. Our 80 something year old mother makes it up easily in her minivan but we mention it in case it makes a difference in the vehicle you choose to travel in.


Absolutely No Smoking or Vaping in the properties and no pets. Please respect the no pet and smoking rule. This is strictly enforced with a $250 cleaning fee and you will be asked to vacate the property without refund.

Please remember that the treehouses are meant as a quiet retreat for 1-2 people only. No parties or events. Outside quiet hours: 9:30 p.m. - 8 a.m. Only registered guest are allowed on property due to liability and the safety of our property. No candles. Please keep the hot tub cover on when not in use. The covers are breakable and cost $400 to replace so don’t stand or lay on it PLEASE.

A space is shared in House by the Creek — A back room with private entry which is kept separate from the house for our staging and laundry area.
